farm

sigh life can be so unfair

there used to be a farm, where these 2 partners couple up to work together to take care of the fields.
then one day one of them suddenly wanted to go solo, simply because that person no longer feels like it
so the fields was left to the one person that remains, trying to keep the farm intact on his own, yet a farm that had been extended to be looked after by 2 can no longer be looked after by one person alone, so the farms are no longer full of abundance

though it is not hollow, it is left in pieces, incomplete. while the one that left now have a bright future ahead, can what is left behind be mended?

lies

lately, i've been fascinated by the psychology of human reaction, as certain book had invoked my interest in wisdom in the moral of how to live righteously (which interestingly enough, this book that i speak of is not the bible, which again i shall ponder upon y that is so)

so if u break down the act of lying into the reasoning behind it, it results in these few main reasons (as far as i am concerned):

1. to avoid consequences of an action, eg u broke something that belongs to someone
2. to make the current situation more positive, eg dw, everything will be fine
3. to exaggerate certain truth, eg telling others u achieved a high score when in fact it was mediocre
4. to make others feel bad, eg telling someone that no one ever appreciated his/her existence
5. out of kindness and comfort, eg telling someone they look good even though they dont

so is lying good or bad?
one could only measure this intellectually by saying it is the cause that could answer such question.
but is lying a necessity?
theoretically i am going to say no, reason being is that all acts of lying (if not, most cases) are to conform into the society as how others view u as an individual. some may argue that by nature, humans are animals that live in groups and therefore must live with social interactions, but however, i am drawn to believe that a "friend" that puts on a mask is not a true friend, but just someone that u know.

yet sadly enough, lying is almost one of the first things a child learns to protect themselves and be socially accepted (myself included), so living a life not not lying is almost impossible from what i can perceive. however, i believe just because u have fallen, doesnt mean u just dont run at all, just like how a hurdler finishes the race even if they tripped over and over again.

can we live without lying?

1 Peter 3:10 tells us, "He that loves life and desires to see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful words."

riding life

hey guys, remember the days when u were young, and u first learnt how to ride a bicycle?

when you r falling towards one side, don't try and turn away, but turn towards it

then i realized, hey, isn't that just like life?
when we face problems, most of us would just simply try to "turn away" from them, but that would only result in a more rapid and heavy fall.
then best way to prevent ourselves from falling, is to turn towards ur fall, face the issues u have in life head on, and solve it.

of course, that doesn't mean that there would be no chance of you falling by turning towards your fall, but know this, turning away from it will most definitely result in a heavier fall

how peculiar that from such little things in life which we don't take notice of, teaches us so much about life?

past and present

hey guys been a while eh? uni keeps me a lil busy, or maybe im just too busy doing my own things heh heres a song from an artist called bizzle, who is a christian rapper i personally love the tune, the beat, and most importantly the msg :') and it saddens me cuz i can sorta relate to the lyrics too its like.. i remember the first online game i played as a child, but even though years after i moved on, i still miss that first experience, not a single other could bring me the joy i had when i was with that first online game, even though it is rated 10/10 and most popular game in the world. y not go back and play it u ask? ... well... its long gone, and i guess i have to appreciate it as a part of the history of my life that made me who i am today.

hey guys (and girls), long time no blog eh? soz (but not much ppl read this anyways)

yea so, uni life, thats some rly busy stuff, esp if u r 1st year engineering, 25 hours a week! thats more than a full timetable in high school sigh

but meh, week 6 alrdy, almost a break now so yea, here i am
so for today, ie my bday, nothing much happened, just the way i like it, + im discovering the joy of bball since i havent gone around to vball oto much due to how rare the occasions r n it clashes with my uni time
but wow, bball, not bad
however my aim is horrible, so i can only put my hop from vball to use and jump a lil :L better work on that

yesterday was an awesome lil outing thingy with 2 of my best mates and it was pretty hectic, havent had such a laugh for so long :')

ah yes, and next week, ill be going to my in laws place for a lil road trip, ill keep u guys updated on that :D

uni life?

hey guys (and girls)

its been a while eh? soz :/

sigh usually when i dont blog, its cuz im either busy or i have no internet, in this case both happened simultaneously so... yea

so some time ago, some thunderstorm came and probs poped my lines, so i had no home phone or internet for like... heaps long maybe like half a month to a month sigh, then when it came back on im starting uni alrdy, so its rly been quite busy for me, but then again here i am :)

so... i guess so far the most interesting thing for me since uni is that i started learning computing, so like programing stuff, a lot of my friends who have no past experience r having a hard time understanding, but o wells, im sure they will prevail

for those of u who may or may not be interested (tough if not :P)
